Depart from the Sea World Cruise Terminal in Main Beach aboard the luxurious Spirit of Migaloo II and cruise towards the Humpback Highway, where thousands of whales pass close to the Gold Coast during their annual migration from late May to early November.

Whale watching was a special experience

Even with it being later in the humpback migration season, we still found whales and dolphins thanks to the experience and eagle eyes of our crew and captain. It was such a special thing to witness, mums with babies! We had an awesome time!

My partner and I booked this experience when visiting the Gold Coast and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff on board were helpful and gave us lots of information about the whales. They helped us spot them and we had ample opportunity to view them. I highly recommend this experience!

I highly recommend this Whale Watch experience with Seaworld Cruises Friendly staff with an abundance of information to share A very relaxing cruise with clean facilities and plenty of room for everyone to view the whales. Staff made sure we saw whales and took the boat out a long way off shore to find our first group. We ended up running over time, but as we were the last cruise of the day they met up with a second whale watch cruise on the way back who had just come across a mother and calf, and allowed us time to enjoy watching them swim together. Really appreciate this unforgettable experience!
