What's included?

60 minute virtual reality simulator racing experience

Immerse yourself in the world of motor racing! Customise your experience with a range of motorsport categories including F1, GT and V8, choice of international and local circuits, and race cars from open-wheelers to supercars. Experienced driving coaches are available to guide you around the circuit, work on your race craft and maximise your experience. Challenge yourself to achieve your own PB - shave another 10th of a second off your lap record. Crashes? It's all part of the fun – just hit the reset button!

Please arrive a few minutes prior to your session time

Guidelines

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
Persons over 195cm (6’ 5”) and 140kg (310lbs) are unlikely to fit comfortably within the cockpit
No experience required; level of difficulty adapted to individual requirement. With motion sickness technology and customisable settings, this experience is suitable for almost anyone
If you wear spectacles, particularly for reading, they will need to fit within the VR headset so if you have an option please do not wear glasses with a large frame. Contact lenses if available are fine, even preferred

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

This voucher is valid for one person. Multiple vouchers can be purchased and ran across two simulators simultaneously.

F1 virtual reality experience

I was not very impressed with the experience. The instructor had to fix the system three times as it kept malfunctioning. If you are a first time user the virtual reality glasses can make you feel nauseous, I ended up taking them off and just looked at the screen. For the price they charge I personally do not think it was worth it.

First time experiencing VR, let alone VR and motion simulation. Jake at Motum was an amazing host very friendly and easy to talk to and very well experienced in setting up the simulator. The setup is great for people who like F1 / V8 Supercars or grip based driving and the selection of games and cars is great too. It's certainly a strange feeling to get used to and most of the time I felt a little queasy but turns out this is a very normal thing. I had a great time driving my favourite cars on different tracks and basically looking around randomly! Wasn't there to set fast lap times or anything like that so can't wait to go back again hopefully soon! Thanks team!

It was a fun and rewarding experience getting my lap time down, it was a little challenging to get used to but the instructor was really helpful and kind. It is great for any skill level, with beginners tracks up to expert. It felt very real with all the movement the simulation gave. Headset was a little bit fuzzy though that would be my only downside. Apart from that it was an awesome experience and I would definitely go again

This experience was so good I actually felt like I was there - so realistic! The track layouts and attention to detail in the graphics was superb. The feel of the car and suspension was in sync with everything that was happening visually. Set up and getting going was quick and easy, and very professional. Definitely going back to do this experience again.

This was a Christmas present for my 12-year-old son and we didn't know what to expect. Jake was super helpful in explaining what to expect and how to use the tech. Overall, my son had an exciting and memorable experience.

I had a blast with the simulator experience at Motum Simulation. It was so realistic and immersive that I felt like I was actually driving a F1 race car. The graphics were amazing, and the sound effects were awesome. Jake and Steve were friendly and helpful, and they explained everything clearly before the session. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves a simulator experience.

I went here with a friend. We both had an awesome time. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they gave tips to improve our laps and had fun banter. The sim itself was amazing and felt great to drive. Very keen to go again! Highly recommend!!

The level of immersion that you get from the VR makes you feel like you are riding in the car - and with plenty of tracks and hundreds of cars to choose from there is no way you are going to walk away disappointed...unless of course you just miss out on setting a leaderboard time
