Step over the edge and experience Australia's first vertical restaurant as you dangle from the precipice of Brisbane Powerhouse. Vertigo thrill-seekers will don safety harnesses and climb out to their seats to experience sky-high city views with a 17-metre drop with a delicious 3 course meal.
Prepare to dine like never before at Australia's first vertical restaurant, Vertigo. Dine four stories above the ground and be taken on an epic gastronomic journey as you overhang the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse. After donning your safety harnesses and climbing into your seats, soak up the sky-high city views at golden hour. You will then be served a delicious meal crafted by the talented Bar Alto chefs using local ingredients and matched with Queensland wine. After the conclusion of your meal, descend the 17-metre-high facade via a thrilling dropline, or you can choose to walk back through the Brisbane Powerhouse. This is truly a dining experience like no other, combining amazing food and heart-pounding excitement.
Please note - Bookings are on a request basis only. Select from Friday and Saturday. Times are as follows: 5.00 - 7.00pm, 5.30pm - 7.30pm, 6.00pm - 8.00pm , 6.30pm - 8.30pm , 7.00pm - 9.00pm.
Vertigo can accommodate eight tables of two simultaneously, with seatings available throughout the evening from Friday to Saturday, weather permitting. You will be booking 1 table, for 2 people. For bookings over four (4) people and larger groups, please email the provider at info@vertigobrisbane.com.au or call them at +61 (07) 3358 8600 to make a group booking.
Spectators are welcome to watch from ground level. There are a number of tables and chairs set up at the Vertigo Pod which is beneath the dining experience.
The event will proceed as scheduled in light rain, but attendees should bring weatherproof jackets for comfort. If the event is cancelled by organisers due to adverse weather conditions, you'll be contacted and can either reschedule to another session or opt for a full refund – the decision is yours.
To ensure your safety and comfort while dining at Vertigo, it is requested that you wear shorts or pants (avoid skirts or dresses due to the harness) along with closed-toe, rubber-soled, comfortable shoes, as there will be some climbing involved during the experience. While the provider understands your desire to look your finest during the Vertigo experience, they request that you avoid wearing necklaces, dangling earrings, and bangles for your safety and comfort. Please tie back long hair for safety.
All loose items must be stored in the secure lockers of the Vertigo Pod. Phones may be taken up but must be attached to a Vertigo phone lanyard. Vertigo lanyards are available for hire on the evening for $5 or to purchase for $24. Please ensure all dietary requirements are provided at least 48 hours prior to dining.
