Step inside the hidden world of farm-to-table meat at a working deer farm tucked beneath the wild peaks of Tasmania’s Great Western Tiers. Led by veteran farmer Joel Houghton, you'll gain a rare behind-the-scenes look at how premium venison is prepared, with every cut explained and every decision shared along the way. Ask questions throughout, with small groups creating an open, personal and engaging experience.

Arrive to a short farm tour and deer encounter before the demonstration begins, then settle in for light refreshments and a meal built around the very venison you’ve just watched prepared.
