Have you ever wondered what it's like to drive a V8 race car? Well, now's your chance to get into the driving seat of a race-prepared V8 Race Car, built and maintained by Paul Morris's V8 Supercar Team. You drive for 10 laps, then strap in for 2 full-on hot Laps

Your experience starts when arrive at the track, which is home to Norwell Motorplex Supercar Team Paul Morris Motorsport. You will meet your race instructor and then set off on 2 hot laps driven by your instructor, as you are going around they will talk you through the track and give you tips on all aspects of racing including, cornering/race line, break points and acceleration, this will help you to get the most out of the experience.

After your hot you will jump in your chosen race car and the drive 10 laps of the full track. Your race instructor will give you constant guidance throughout the experience, their aim is to get you driving faster and faster, if all goes to plan your last lap will be the fastest.

When you have completed your drive it is time for 2 seriously fast hot laps as a passenger, your professional race driver will push the race car to it limits, you will be amazed at how good these car are on the track.

For your race experience you can decide, on the day, to drive either a Ford or Holden, its completely up to you.

Important information

Session Length

Available Thursday to Saturday from 9am - 3pm
Closed on public holidays. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time
The duration of your experience will be approximately 40 minutes.
Bookings essential and subject to the daily program schedule.

Guidelines

All participants must hold a valid manual or automatic drivers licence, P-plate drivers are accepted. Some experience in a manual transmission car is recommended
Contact for advice if you are larger than a 5XL Shirt
You will be required to sign a damage liability waiver on arrival

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Spectators

Spectators are welcome. There are safe viewing areas on site.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider

Dress Code

Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended, along with covered shoes.

This experience takes place at Norwell, Queensland - approximately 45 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.

It was amazing

The driver I was paired with was very talented and seemed to never put his foot off the pedal. He also did around 4 laps rather then 3 which was really nice

Was not happy with my V8 Supercar hot laps. I had to pay extra to redeem my Red Balloon voucher which was gifted to me.
