Your experience kicks off the moment you arrive at Norwell Motorplex, Gold Coast, home of V8 Supercar Driving Experience and Team Paul Morris Motorsport. After a safety briefing and an overview of racing techniques that give you the insight you need to hit the track with confidence, you'll be ready to put your pedal to the metal.

Then it’s your turn. You’ll jump behind the wheel of your chosen V8 race car and take on seven laps of the full circuit. With your instructor guiding you live throughout the drive, you’ll build speed lap by lap, pushing harder each time as your confidence grows, aiming to make your final lap your fastest. Once you’ve completed your drive, strap back in for two more seriously fast hot laps, this time with a professional driver pushing the car to its absolute limits. You’ll feel just how capable these machines really are. Best of all, on the day you can choose between a Ford or Holden, the experience is completely in your hands.

Session Length

Available Thursday to Saturday from 9am - 3pm
This experience is closed on public holidays
The duration of your experience will be approximately one hour
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time

Guidelines

All participants must hold a valid manual or automatic drivers licence, P-plate drivers are accepted
Some experience in a manual transmission car is recommended
You will be required to sign a damage liability waiver on arrival
Bookings essential and subject to the daily program schedule
Contact for advice if you are larger than a 5XL shirt

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Spectators

Spectators are welcome. There are safe viewing areas on site.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider.

Dress Code

Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended, along with covered shoes.
