Have you ever wondered what it's like to drive a V8 race car? Well, now's your chance to get into the driving seat of a race-prepared V8 Race Car, built and maintained by Paul Morris's V8 Supercar Team. You drive for 7 laps, then strap in for 2 full-on hot Laps
Your experience starts when arrive at the the Norwell Motorplex track, which is home to Supercar Driving Experience and Team Paul Morris Motorsport. You will be fitted with your helmet, meet your race instructor and you will set of on your 2 hot laps driven by your instructor. As you are going around they will talk you through the track and give you tips on all aspects of racing including, cornering/race line, break points and acceleration, this will help you to get the most out of the experience.
After you hot laps you will jump in your chosen race car and drive 7 laps of the full track. Your race instructor will give you constant guidance throughout the experience, their aim is to get you driving faster and faster, if all goes to plan your last lap will be the fastest.
When you have completed your drive it is time for 2 seriously fast hot laps, a professional race driver who will push the race car to it limits, you will be amazed at how good these cars are on the track. For your race experience you can decide, on the day, to drive either a Ford or Holden its completely up to you.
Spectators are welcome. There are safe viewing areas on site.
In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider
Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended, along with covered shoes.
This experience takes place at Norwell, Queensland - approximately 45 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.
