Find speed as you blast around Queensland Raceway in a real V8 race car with five drive laps and in car instruction from a professional race car driver.
After sign in, you'll undergo a thorough pre drive tuition, covering information on the handling of the car, cornering, braking and the track map to ensure you get the most out of your drive safely. You'll gear up in your race suit and helmet before meeting your in car instructor and getting strapped into the driver's seat. Then, you'll take advantage of the no speed limit as you gun it down straights and conquer corners at incredible speeds.
You'll be in ongoing communication with your in car instructor through the headset to ensure you're fast and safe during the five lap session. Spectators will love watching the high speed action from the pit lane, so remember to bring them along! By the session's end, you'll be surprised at how easy it is to drive a real V8 race car. You choose between Ford or Holden cars.
If you have a concern with respect to health issues, especially shortness of breath, it is recommended that you seek professional advice from your family doctor before commencing this experience.
The briefing will be held in a group of approximately 15 to 20 people.
Spectators will love watching the high speed action from the pit lane, so remember to bring them along!
The drive may be interrupted or cancelled due to inclement weather as driving at high speed on a wet track can be dangerous. Please contact the experience provider to confirm the status of the day. In the case of your drive being cancelled due to weather, your experience will be rescheduled.
Wear comfortable clothing as the race suit will need to go over any clothing you choose to wear. Fully enclosed, flat soled shoes (normal runners are fine), long sleeves and long pants are required.
There is a phone mount on the dash of the car that you can put your own mobile phone in, to record your experience!
