Calling all car fanatics and thrill seekers! Take a visit to The Bend Motorsport Park for an exhilarating five lap drive experience in a V8 Ford Mustang. After a safety briefing and gear up, sit down in the best seat in the house in preparation for the drive of your life. With guidance from your in car coach, take control as you press down on the accelerator and whizz around the track.

You will feel the adrenaline pump through your body as you conquer every corner on the circuit, and feel yourself improve lap by lap. The moment you step out of the car your body will be craving a return visit!

Important information

Session Length

The drive is approximately 15 minutes in duration
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking time to complete registration and set up
Experiences are booked in one hour time slots

Restrictions

Participants must 21 years or older and hold a current road driver’s licence.

Guidelines

Participants must be proficient with a manual transmission
You will receive an email with a link to our electronic waivers a few days prior to your experience, the waivers must be completed prior to the activity
Please note the experience provider endeavours to start and finish sessions on time, however, occasionally delays occur on the day
The track layout used may vary from time to time based on operational requirements
Where a different track is used, the number of laps may be adjusted to provide equivalent track time

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

It will be you and your professional driver in the car. This voucher is valid for one person.

Dress Code

Please wear full length, wrist to ankle clothing and closed in shoes. Helmet will be provided.

Thrilling experience of five laps around the Bend

I had an absolutely fantastic time driving five laps around the Bend in a Ford V8 Mustang. From the welcoming staff at reception, the woman who helped with choosing a helmet, the guy who buckled me in the driver's seat and of course the co-driver, it was a very pleasant experience. I have previously been a passenger in a Mustang but this is the first time as a driver, so I was initially quite nervous. I need not have been as the co-driver was very friendly, knowledgeable, supportive and patient. He was extremely helpful and quickly put me at ease. Each lap I grew in confidence and by the end, was very pleased with how I went. If you are unsure about taking on this challenge, just do it!

Really was a seemless Red Balloon experence which I thoroughly enjoyed. Great instructor and excellent equipment. Came away with a USB of the drive to remember it by. Greta fun and controlled conditions mean nobody gets to outdrive themselves.

5 lap experience seemed to go very fast - When watching the video, I only did 4 laps, one instructional and 3 fast laps :-(

Five laps goes pretty quickly but it's a lot of fun. An instructor is in the car providing advice on when to brake, accelerate, etc. No-one else was on the track, so I was able to concentrate on going as fast as I could. Got it over 200 at the end of the straight but was too busy to watch the speedo most of the time. A pity the video cut out a few times, so I am only able to review the beginning and end of my drive.

The experience was awesome, the 5 laps definitely felt a bit short due to all the fun. Perhaps offer more laps of the course? Or maybe use the entire track? Otherwise perfect
