Experience the power of a real V8 race car in the driver and passenger seat as you drive six laps around Sydney Motorsport Park before two hot laps.

What's included?

Six drive laps at Sydney Motorsport Park
Two front seat hot laps (passenger)
Use of race suit and open face helmet
Highly qualified driver/instructor
Safety briefing

On arrival, you'll meet your driver, be geared up in your racing suit and be run through a thorough safety tuition. This is where you'll learn how to handle the power of a V8 and receive tips on how to tackle corners safely. Then, you'll take a seat behind the wheel and zoom around the track at unreal speeds yourself, racing through tight corners and gunning it up the straights. Your co driver will be giving you guidance over the headset the entire way to ensure you master the experience safely.

After your exhilarating six lap drive, you'll switch seats and let the professional show you how it's done. Hold on tight as your highly professional race car driver goes full throttle, blistering around the north circuit two times at astonishing speeds. Spectators will also be addicted to the high speed action as they watch from the grandstands so make sure to invite them along. Choose between Ford or Holden Cars. No manual transmission driving experience necessary.

Session Length

This experience is three hours in duration, including the briefing
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking time

Restrictions

Those who are pregnant or under the influence of drugs or alcohol cannot participate in this experience.

Guidelines

Both Holden and Ford cars are available, as well as automatic or manual
Race days are held throughout the year on specified dates
Participants must be at least 18 years and hold your P plate license at a minimum
Maximum weight limit is 130kg
Minimum height is 135cm and the maximum height is 194cm
Participants who arrive on the day of their experience and do not adhere to these guidelines will forfeit their experience
Please note there is an excess paid to the experience provider in the event of any damage caused to the car
Once this experience is booked, it is non refundable and cannot be cancelled, however changes can be made as per below

Cancellation

This experience is non refundable
Failure to give notice or un attendance, in the event that you redeem a voucher “convert to a booking” and you do not attend the experience date, or choose not to participate in your experience will result in your booking being unusable for any future bookings and the redemption period being void. This is due to Fastrack Experiences bearing the cost to prepare and provide your experience irrespective of your un attendance or non participation

Numbers on the Day

Your briefing will be held in a group of approximately 20 to 25 people.

Spectators

Friends and family are welcome to come along and share your experience at no additional fee. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue.

Weather

If it’s raining before you leave home, please call the weather check number on 0412 018 035 for a recording with the latest track and weather conditions.

Dress Code

Please wear comfortable, enclosed flat soled shoes and weather appropriate and comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement.

Hard Sell

There is nothing wrong with the experience itself, as described you get two laps in a race style vehicle and feel the acceleration, cornering and braking they are capable of in real life. However I didn’t really like the hard sell I got to add laps or photos/videos or driver/passenger intercom. By all means offer these options at registration by way of a flyer with pricing and tick boxes but to get dragged over to the sales desk and endure the”pitch” and subsequent glares when I kept saying no thanks detracted from the overall experience.

Unfortunately didn’t feel we got the full 2 laps

2 full laps including the straight would have felt like we actually got the full 2 laps. Purchasing an extra lap for another $100 a bit out of our league so was a little disappointed overall. Staff were well organised and helpful

They cancelled it, and haven’t heard from them

We would received a text message in the morning saying that the experience had been cancelled due to wet weather; however that day was fine and sunny! They said they would contact us but they have not. I phoned and left messages. I went on their Facebook page and left a message. But have not received any call back.

The V8 Driving Experience was unreal

The actual driving experience was incredible. My driving instructor was so knowledgeable and helped get the most out of my experience. I was so surprised at how well I went with his instruction. I would do it 1000 times over. The only negative comments would be that they do try to get you to purchase all the additional things ie. Insurance, which I think should definitely be included with the price not optional. Further another $120 for two photos and your video. I also think its a shame you cant get some of your own photos with the car you're in. So if you dont want Insurance or any photos of your experience then it was top notch!
