What could be more fun than V8 Buggy Driving? Try the new V8 craze and drive a wild V8 off-road buggy! Take this opportunity to do this completely unique experience...it's like something out of a movie!

What's included?

Six laps driving a V8 buggy
Helmet and racing overalls supplied

Upon arrival for your off road racing experience, you will attend a drivers briefing on the rules and track conditions. Then it's into the off road buggies for a drive around the track to get the adrenalin pumping! You will have the opportunity to drive a real race buggy with an instructor riding with you as your navigator. Your instructor will offer encouragement and some handy tips on car control, drifting and racing over purpose built jumps. Your confidence will grow as each lap goes by and so will your speed down the back dirt straight, as well as getting plenty of sideways turn. All of this happens in a buggy, which are decked out with a powerful Toyota Lexus V8 engine. During the experience, you will be provided with a full face helmet, overalls and strapped into a 5-point race harness, so you are completely safe to unleash your inner speed demon! Please note: Maximum weight is for this experience is 130kg and maximum height is 201cm.

Session Length

Allow up to two hours at the track for your experience
There are both morning and afternoon sessions available
Morning session 8:30am - 10:30am OR 10:30am - 12:30pm
Afternoon session 12:30pm - 2:30pm OR 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Booking time will be confirmed by the experience provider
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to complete paperwork

Guidelines

Maximum weight is for this experience is 130kg and maximum height is 201cm
Participants are required to sign a waiver of liability form
A zero alcohol and drug policy for all drivers will be strictly adhered to
All drivers must be 16 years or older and all passengers must be 10 years or older.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 17 days of your experience unless in extreme experiences
Name changes are free of charge

Numbers on the Day

There will be a maximum group size of 10 people.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome with great viewing of the race track. You are able to stay with the participant right up until their drive. There is a safe environment for kids with plenty of space for them to run around.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. A text message will be sent to the person who booked the experience.

Dress Code

You will get a little dusty with this experience so keep that in mind!

Other Info

All drivers must be 16 years or older and all passengers must be 10 years or older. Photo packages are available for purchase on the day for $50. There are no canteen facilities available on site, so please feel free to bring your own food and drinks. There are no EFTPOS facilities on site due to no Internet coverage. So please bring cash on the day for any extra purchases.

4 hour long wait and no video of the drive

Red Baloon booking people get special waiting time of 4 hours for Subaru rally car experience. I had booked the rally car driving experience for 1230 pm and as per their guidelines reached at 12. Had to wait till 4 pm for my turn and then eventually another 15 mins for the Hot lap. Additionally I had booked the video recording of my experience considering I had gone alone, they just recorded my hot lap and not me driving the Subaru. Overall : did I have fun surely, but at the end unhappy with the experience. Give it a miss

Got the V8 buggy experience for a birthday and the whole tung was excellent. Really fast to get me through and the laps were so good I added on some hot laps with an instructor. 10/10 would recommend.

Arrived to a relaxed atmosphere. Tea and coffee on side to make whilst you wait. Clean bathrooms after the long drive. Great staff making you feel comfortable and confident in their ability to keep you safe. Generous with their time and great competency
