Experience an unforgettable one on one combat flight! Full pre-flight and post-flight briefings with a professional pilot with a unique and customised combat flight experience.

Depart Moorabbin Airport in formation, flying wingtip to wingtip as you roar skywards in genuine ex-military fighter trainers. Feel the rush as you close in to take the shot high above Port Phillip Bay. Watch smoke plume out of the enemy aircraft as you score a hit! This experience is fully interactive so hold on tight. As a participant you will form part of the crew as you scan the skies for the enemy and ensure there is no bogey on your tail or hun in the sun. When the time comes to bug out you'll be reforming and returning to base in friendly formation.

This is a unique, high octane aerial adventure not for the faint hearted!

Important information

Session Length

Allow 1.5 hours for entire experience including briefings, dressing up in combat gear and strapping into aircraft
Time in the aircraft is 30 minutes, with a minimum of 25 minutes in the sky
Experience is available on selected weekends only
Please arrive 15mins earlier for your booking

Guidelines

People who suffer from heart conditions should consult with their doctor before booking
Those easily susceptible to motion sickness are encouraged to try a single adventure flight first to acclimatise
Maximum height is 193cm
Maximum weight is 130kg
No plaster casts
No hard or sharp objects can be carried in the aircraft
Please arrive 15mins earlier for your booking

Military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by CASA or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 150 and 132.155;

(i) the design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA; and
(ii) the aircraft is not required by CASA to be operated to the same safety standards as an aircraft used for air transport operations; and
(iii) travel in the aircraft is done at the passenger's own risk; and
(iv) a more detailed briefing about the safety of the aircraft will be given to the passenger before the passenger boards the aircraft;
(v) passengers who cannot understand safety briefing to be accompanied on adventure flights

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

You can book just one person in and you will be matched with a worthy foe on the day. Two people are not required to make a booking.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather, your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider

Dress Code

No high heels or skirts.

Hold on tight thsi will be a rush

Had an awesome experience, thanks to Matt. He was fantastic in talking through what he was up to in the front there. He also went out of his way to demonstrate the capabilities of the CJ. The sortie gives you an appreciation for just how demanding being a fighter pilot in a prop aircraft would be, and in turn how much more demanding a fast jet would be. The accuracy of flying was probably a highlight for me. I would not however recommend this as a first acrobatic experience in an aircraft, as all the manoeuvres are "stacked" to simulate chasing an aircraft who is evading, be prepared to have to focus hard to keep a line of sight on the other aircraft, whilst attempting to stay orientated. That being said it was made clear that if you were feeling uncomfortable then you can tap out at any time. Thanks again Matt, hammerheads are awesome!

Aerial Dogfighting- what's not to love?

Was a little unsure I would enjoy the flight as I have been very lucky to fly a Mustang in the US. How wrong I was, I had so much fun! Being up there with another plane, flying in tight formation and then breaking off to chase one another through high G manuoevres was a special feeling. Thoroughly enjoyed my flight, would recommend it, and will probably do it again

A great experience flying in formation with another, then performing dogfight style manoeuvres behind and in front of the other aircraft. Then some solo aerobatics and return formation. Would have been slightly better to have a small 'hands on' fly. In general a great memorable time had.
