Found the whiskey tasting enjoyable and informative. Seating was crowded and uncomfortable on bar stools with not enough space for coats or jackets. I felt the venue let down the experience and found I was constantly moving trying to get comfortable. For anyone still sensitive to COVID or immune compromised it would be too close.

I guess the many wine tastings I had attended in the past conditioned my expectations but I was surprised by a very knowledgeable host that took us through a brief history of whisky and manufacturing process along with the tasting of some very contrasting drops that helped appreciate the variety available.

The owners advised a time change. Red ballon did not advise this to me. Hence I missed the first 30 minutes. As for the experience it was great. I’ll book directly with the organizers next time.
