Aboard Robert Pennicott’s 3 Hour Wilderness Cruise, you will explore the spectacular coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck. The custom-built yellow boats cruise into deep-sea caves, past waterfalls, archways and to the foot of Australia’s highest sea cliffs. Join the search for abundant sea and coastal wildlife such as seals, dolphins, migrating whales and sea birds. After the cruise, you will enjoy lunch and a visit to the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo. You can view the Tasmanian Devil as well as other native wildlife such as wallabies, kangaroos and possums, before enjoying the free-flight bird show.

This experience is part of the Responsible range because they are ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.

This experience operates with a maximum of 43 people per boat. We have three boats located at Port Arthur.

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. If your experience is cancelled you will be rescheduled by the provider

Passengers should dress warmly allowing for possible cold and windy conditions. Warm jackets, scarves, beanies and gloves are highly recommended.

This experience departs Hobart waterfront for Port Arthur.

Outstanding experience.

Tasman Island cruise was world class. The Tasman coast is glorious and staff were exceptional. My family will be receiving one of these trips as a gift this Christmas.

We had a really wonderful time. The bus driver Phil, was funny and knowledgable and the boys on the boat were really friendly and great fun! The tour itself was a great day out, we saw dolphins and seals and lots of sea birds! amazing day and well worth the money!
