Experience a tandem skydive above the stunning Latrobe Valley! Free fall from up to 12,000ft for approximately 45 seconds until your parachute opens and feeling is restored as you soar the remaining distance back to earth. Perfect for adrenaline junkies and those after a bucket list experience!

What's included?

This experience will see you reach speeds of 200km/h as you fall 12,000ft back to earth! You will be greeted by your tandem instructor upon arrival at the drop zone, before being fitted for your jumpsuit and listening to a thorough safety briefing.

From there, you will get onto the plane and enjoy a scenic flight up to the desired altitude. During the flight you will be secured to your instructor and final safety checks will be completed before the door is opened. Time to jump! You'll be in free-fall for approximately 45 seconds before your parachute is released and you commence the calm glide back down to solid ground taking in uninterrupted views of the Latrobe Valley including Wilson Prom and surrounding mountain ranges

Once you land, you will get to watch back your jump with family and friends. The ultimate adrenaline rush!

Important information

Session Length

Available Saturdays, Sundays and selected public holidays
Allow half a day for the entire experience
It's recommended to book a couple of weeks in advance

Restrictions

Maximum 110kg Minimum 16 years old with Parent/Guardian permission

Guidelines

Participants must have zero alcohol and drugs in their system
Participants cannot have participated in scuba diving 48 hours prior to the skydive
Minimum age is 16 years
Any participants aged between 16-18 years require parent/guardian consent
Not suitable for women more than 12 weeks pregnant
Surcharges apply for participants over 95kg, Maximum 110kg

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

The price quoted is for one person. The aircraft can take up to 8 people (4 tandem pairs) at a time.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome to watch you participate in the experience.

Weather

This experience is highly weather dependant. In the event of high winds, rain and low cloud cover this experience may be cancelled in the interest of safety. If your experience is cancelled due to weather the provider will contact you directly to reschedule.

Dress Code

Participants should wear comfortable clothing (no jeans) and enclosed shoes.

Other Info

a. A contract for the supply of parachuting services is not complete until the participant has agreed and signed the Australian Parachute Federation Standard Group Member Terms and Conditions (Form CL8). The Form CL8 will be provided to you at the drop zone before you begin any parachuting related activity. b. No parachute related activity will be provided unless and until the APF Form CL8 has been completed and signed by the participant. c. If you decide not to sign the Form CL8, you will not be able to participate in any parachute related activities.

Tandem sky dive! Amazing

This was an awesome experience I would recommend to anyone! The instructors were fantastic and guided me thru my 1st jump every step of the way.It was great that the skydiving is less than 10 mins from my place as I am pretty sure I will do it again. Red Balloon was a great way to get me started as I dont think I would have booked it without the voucher
