We were told by the cruise host that we could have a go at the helm but when we asked the captain we were told quite rudely to wait. We waited for a fair while and then gave up. Just as we got in to port the captain came up and said that we could now have a go but that he was training before, which was not true based on our sailing experience.

However, while the food we had was nice, it was no more than finger food, and there was insufficient vegetarian variety. Also, for an experience for non-drinkers, fruit juice and soft drink doesn’t really cut it - what about a bottle or two of non-alcoholic wine? Or even Appletise?

Went around the harbour, turned off the engines and put up the sails, which makes for a lovely relaxing smooth trip. Take sunscreen, there is some shade. The tour guide was great, very friendly and informative, with lots of historical knowledge. The crew were friendly, food and drink good.
