★★★★★ ★★★★★ The experience was absolutely amazing! Sian 4 October 2019 Unfortunately the experience was not available due to low numbers so they accommodated us on a different Eco Tour in which we engaged with Humpback Whales along with Manta Rays and saw other marine animals during our snorkel. The staff on the boat were amazing, Bronte, Sarah, Helen, Steve and Brad were so welcoming and knowledgeable and made the whole experience even better. They were caring and attentive to all. The owners in the office on the other hand were less accommodating and did not meet the level of customer service that would be expected of a service like this. We enquired about a refund as this Eco Tour was $100 cheaper than the tour that the Red Balloon voucher was for and they told us they could only give us $21 of the $100 difference because they paid 20% to red balloon of the total cost. I persisted to ask questions about this policy and was met with a response of “did you see the humpbacks?” to which I replied with “Yes” was then met with “well you did get the experience you paid for then.” I then went on to query that even though that was true, the other people on our boat paid for the cheaper experience and that it wasn’t a fair system if this was the case. The conversation continued and the only resolution we were offered was to pay for the whole trip again, receive the $100 refund and then query a full refund from Red Balloon. We ended up taking the $21 and leaving. We found the owners to be very rude and in my opinion they are very lucky that their crew are so amazing to keep their business thriving.
