The perfect place for a quiet golf escape, Tallwoods Country Club is ideally situated in the spectacular Great Lakes region of mid-north NSW. Play two rounds on the 18-hole golf course and stay two-nights on-course, with a bacon & egg roll and coffee before each round and a beer or wine each night.
Tallwoods golf course is an established, world-class, 18-hole championship course and is proudly Australia's only course designed by the award-winning Dr Michael Hurdzan. Utilising the undulating topography to create a wonderful course that traverses rugged terrain with severe elevation changes, this course will provide with a suitable challenge as you look to improve your handicap. With several green complexes sitting in little amphitheatres, buried in the hillside beneath extravagant home sites, you will want to take a small moment between strokes to enjoy your surroundings.
The mixture of high canopy majestic eucalyptus and prolific native vegetation make this course an arborist's delight, while the extensive water features throughout the course will punish any errant shots. Your two-night stay at Tallwoods Country Club gives you and your playing partner or partners a bacon & egg roll and a coffee each morning before play begins, access to a motorised golf cart for travelling from tee to tee, and a beer or wine for each person on both nights, once play is done.
You will be staying in one of 15 superbly furnished bungalows which also serve as the perfect base for an escape to the spectacular Great Lakes region with it's beautiful beaches, ideal for swimming, surfing and fishing, not to mention scuba diving as well as dolphin and whale watching cruises.
This experience does not allow for spectators.
The experience will go ahead in wet or inclement weather, however you may not have use of a golf cart. Cancelled when golf course is shut by club (too wet, dangerous)
Please visit the golf club's website to make sure you understand and adhere to their dress code for guest players. If in doubt contact their Pro Shop for further information. You must play in golf shoes with soft spikes and generally wear smart, clean golf attire (for men or women).
