Learn to kiteboard or hone your skills with a private lesson at the iconic St Kilda Beach. Taught by an IKO recognised instructor, you'll learn the ins and outs of kite control, wind conditions and self-rescue techniques both in the water and on the sand.
Learn to kiteboard on the beautiful St Kilda Beach. Designed for first timers or beginners to the sport, participants will learn kite control and technical skills from a fully qualified instructor. The first part of the session focuses on kite control training where you'll learn about the wind, equipment, power zones and safety. The second part takes you into the water covering the safety systems, ins and outs of body drag, re-launching your kite and self-rescue techniques. Have a blast taking on the big blue and leave feeling confident in the water.

95% of beach weather is suitable for kiteboarding. You may receive a call up to an hour beforehand if it doesn't look good and you may reschedule at no cost to you. If you live more than 30 minutes away, call the experience provider before you leave to confirm weather is fine for kiteboarding.
