Self drive and park at the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway Smithfield Terminal. Check in inside the Skyrail Terminal with your Kuranda Boarding Pass. This pass includes your tickets for both the Skyrail and the Scenic Rail as well as a map and discounted entry coupons to Kuranda's favourite attractions.

The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway takes you over the rainforest and up to Kuranda, offering picturesque views of the expansive green vegetation in this beautiful, tropical area. There's two stops along the way, at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations, both with spectacular lookouts! Once you arrive in Kuranda you're free to explore! Browse through the Kuranda Markets or visit the many attractions such as Koala Gardens, Birdworld or the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (own expense).

Your return journey is unforgettable, travelling on the Kuranda Scenic Railway through hand hewn tunnels and past stunning waterfalls and lush tropical rainforest.

The Kuranda Scenic Railway is subject to extreme weather conditions resulting in non-operation. In this instance, return Skyrail will be provided to substitute the KSR portion of the tour. You will be advised on the day of travel of alternative arrangements available to you.

Great experience. Don't book through red balloon

It was a great day though terrible weather. Lots of similar shops but could easily spend a few hours wandering. From the.moment we requested to book until after the transfer back to the car it was horrible dealing with the third party, which we had to do about 5 times in all.

Kuranda Skyrail and Kuranda Train

The Skyrail was amazing and such a great experience to see what a amazing rainforest we have here in Far North Queensland. As a Cairns local, I was really grateful to be living in such a beautiful place. The train was pretty cool and relaxing, some interesting info shared about along the tracks. All up, glad I took the weekend to do this! I was in awh! 🦋🌞✌🏾

The views from the Skyline were spectacular.

The whole family enjoyed the trip up the skyline and then back down on the train. The views were breathtaking and the waterfalls were stunning. The commentary on the train ride back down the mountain were so informative.

Amazing trip into the rainforest

The train is incredible and brings you up close to waterfalls. It's a comfy ride with a fascinating history. Kuranda is wonderful. Make sure you visit the "Original Kuranda market" tucked up in the rainforest with windy paths through stalls. And the Skyrail is breathtaking. Definitely take the walks at each stop to see the rainforest and Barron falls from a different angle.

Beautiful views on the way up via the sky rail you can see for miles very stunning indeed.. and the little town of Kuranda is a great little spot. We caught the train back and the views were just as spectacular as going up in the sky rail would highly recommend this adventure for anyone who lives history and railways alike

They are offering a tour that is not avalaible since March of 2020 due coronavirus, I think they must fix it or hide this add and NOT accepting booking and payments!

This was the most amazing experience. The views are incredible and The rain Forrest and Barron falls are like something out of this world. Do not miss this opportunity. Great service and value for money it is a must do activity for anyone visiting Tropical Far North Queensland.
