Jump on a Segway and cruise along the scenic Whitsunday Bicentennial Boardwalk, overlooking the tranquil waters of Pioneer Bay. Starting in Airlie Beach, you will meander along the water's edge past Abell Point Marina, Shingley Beach and the Botanic Gardens, through to Cannonvale Beach.

Pop on a helmet, jump on a Segway and head off along the beautiful boardwalk and shore of Airlie Beach. Feel the breeze flow through your hair as you glide effortlessly along the water's edge, passing Abell Point Marina, Shingley Beach and the Whitsunday Botanic Gardens. Your friendly tour guide will provide informative localised commentary and highlight points of interest throughout the 7km round journey. Pull in at Sorrento Restaurant in Cannonvale Beach for a delicious Italian dinner as the sun sets and sky dances with colour. Savour an authentic pizza or pasta before making the scenic trip back to Airlie Beach.

Session Length

Pickup begins at approximately 3pm and concludes at approximately 6pm (1st April to 31st October)
Pickup begins at approximately 4pm and concludes at approximately 7pm (1st November to 31st March)

Before riding the Segway guests will be required to acknowledge and sign a simple indemnity/waiver form. Under 18’s will require an adult to complete the form

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Minimum of one guest and maximum of eight guests per tour.

Weather

This experience operates in most weather conditions, including rain, as long as it is safe to do so.

Dress Code

Comfortable secure shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and restaurant. Bringing drinking water and sunglasses is also recommended.

I’m It was a really awesome experience, Our guide Zac was very informative and knowledgeable. He was fun and easygoing. The tour its self was loads of fun with heaps to see. I would highly recommend this activity

If you are at Airlie beach, I bet you don't wanna miss this experience. Make sure to pre-book well in advance. Zak is a local Legend. Very patient, friendly, calm and full of local information. The Segway ride was really fun with him, a lovely sunny afternoon well spent in the streets of Airlie. To finish up we had a wonderful dinner, which is covered within the tour cost. Highly recommended & a must do tour with this legend.

A bit nervous to start, but Zak gave great instructions and plenty of time to practice before we headed off on our journey. A great way to see the foreshore of Airlie Beach without walking. Dinner on the verandah overlooking the marina was a great touch to add to our experience.

Great tour around Airlie Beach boardwalks. Never been on a Segway before and with the best instructions and practice time in the beginning you know enough to do this beautiful tour. Great stories from our tour guide during our tour. It is a really beautiful way to spend an afternoon. When we arrived at the restaurant our pizzas were almost ready, so we didn't spend to much time here and good enjoy the sunset.

We had the best time doing this tour! From start to finish we had a ball! Our tour guide, Zac, was informative and fun! A very worthwhile experience to take part in! My husband and I totally want to buy Segways now!!

The tour commenced with very supportive introduction to the Segway and practice in a quiet area before heading off any distance. Once underway the group travelled a 4km along the beautiful foreshore and in amongst parklands. Some breaks with commentary from a locals knowledge was great too. We loved that there was a decent amount of time in the tour allowing us to play, be comfortable and have photos/video taken by the tour operator. Lovely Italian dinner on the foreshore was a bonus. Fully recommend this experience. Value for money.
