Embark on an insightful and delightful Segway adventure into the stunning Conway National Park. Zip along the 9km Whitsunday Great Walk trail and discover lush rainforest, flowing streams and an abundance of wildlife as your guide shares interpretative commentary on the area.

Discover the sights and sounds of the Whitsunday tropical rainforest on a Segway. Whiz effortlessly along a 9km scenic trail, taking in picturesque vistas of rainforest, rushing streams and local flora and fauna. Your knowledgable guide will share fascinating insights on the history and geology of the area, as well as highlight points of interest along the way. You will continue to meander through the national park until you reach the crystal clear waters of Impulse Creek. Here you will savour a tasty morning tea consisting of a blueberry muffin, chocolate brownie, mixed dried fruit and an apple, washing it down with tea and coffee as you absorb the beauty of your surroundings. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos along the way, leaving you with a life-long memories.

Important information

Pickup begins at approximately 9:15am, returning at Airlie Beach at approximately 1pm.

  • No experience required
  • Suitable for ages 12 and over
  • Not suitable for pregnant women or people with back problems or mobility impairments
  • Before riding the Segway guests will be required to acknowledge and sign a simple indemnity/waiver form. Under 18’s will require an adult to complete the form
  • Please advise any dietary requirements at time of booking
  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Minimum of two guests and maximum of eight guests per tour.

This experience operates in most weather conditions, including rain, as long as it is safe to do so.

Comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the rainforest and weather. Drinking water and sunglasses are also recommended.

This Segway tour experience takes place in the Conway National Park, along the Great Whitsunday Trail.

A fantastic experience

This was a great way to see the national parks of Whitsundays. Riding the Segway was quite easy and a fun experience. Our guide, Zak, was very knowledgeable and made it an enjoyable trip. Only slight disappointment was that Brandy Creek was dry, however this did not take away from the overall experience
