Forget bikes, rollerblades, scooters and skateboards, SEGWAYS are the greatest invention in outdoor transport. It is quite possibly the coolest machine in the world.

With two large wheels, a foot board and handlebars, you will be amazed at how much fun you will have zipping around in your battery powered electric vehicle. Each tour group is a small group of up to 6, ensuring you get a personal experience and before you head for the hills, you will receive one-on-one training with one of the friendly tour guides. This reassures even the most anxious participants so you can start having fun the minute you take the controls.

On this experience you will enjoy 2hrs of ride time plus approx 30mins Segway training along a fantastic route designed for maximum segway non-stop riding fun. Cruise along Brisbane River, scoot over scenic Story Bridge, glide through pretty South Bank beach, explore the hidden sights of Roma Street Parklands and catch a glimpse of The Wheel. This experience is perfect for locals and those completely new to Brisbane; for parents, children, oldies, friends, couples and anyone with a sense of adventure and fun. This is a unique and fun-filled way to explore the city on one of the world’s most unique transportation devices.

Restrictions

Suitable for age 12- 89 years (Guests under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian). Guests weight: under 120 kg.

Guidelines

Not recommended for participants with mobility or motor control issues. If you are concerned about mobility issues please contact the experience provider.
Not suitable for pregnant women, those with requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail.
Alcohol consumption prior/during the experience is forbidden.

Weather

Segway tours will operate in all weather conditions including heavy rain. The only exception that tours don't operate is when severe winds or lightning is present. In these cases our staff will contact the group for rescheduling.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour start time to allow time for check-in and safety briefing. On Foot or By Car: • Driving/Parking: Park along Main Street or nearby streets. Then, walk down the stairs near Joey’s at Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park to the river level, turn right - where Riverlife is located. • Walking from Brisbane CBD: Cross the river via the Kangaroo Point Pedestrian Bridge. Once across, follow the scenic riverside boardwalk south directly to Riverlife Adventure Centre. By Rideshare or Taxi: Set your drop-off location to Riverlife Adventure Centre, Lower River Terrace, Kangaroo Point. Your driver may drop you at the top of the cliffs on Main Street, so be ready to walk down the stairs. Alternatively, you can be dropped off at the bottom and stroll along the boardwalk to Riverlife.. By Ferry: Hop on a CityCat and disembark at Thornton Street Ferry Terminal. From there, it

Thoroughly enjoyed our Brisbane segway tour

Thoroughly enjoyed our Brisbane segway tour. Booking was quick and easy. The location was easy to find and you could park easily nearby. Guide was friendly and fun. We got a great overview of the southbank, eagle pier, botanical gardens, kangaroo point and in between. All while having fun on the Segway. We covered approx 20kms and now know exactly what we want to go back and see in more detail in the short time we have available in Brisbane. If you have older kids they would love it too.
