Join the Red Hill Candle Co Scent Lab in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula for a hands-on candle making experience. This 90-minute workshop offers a fun and memorable day out, perfect for beginners looking to learn the basics of candle making without the pressure of a detailed course.

You'll start with a complimentary glass of bubbles or juice and an introduction to the art of candle making and fragrances. With all materials provided, you'll create two custom fragranced candles—one large soy wax candle and one small tin soy wax candle—to take home.

Just bring your curiosity and creativity, and wear comfortable clothes and shoes; you'll be supplied an apron to keep you clean.

Session Length

This experience runs for a duration of 90 minutes. Available to book Saturdays at 11am or the last Sunday of each month at 11am

Restrictions

Important things to note: - Your large candle will take approximately 2-3hours to set. You are welcome to collect it later that day or during our operating hours or we can post your candles to you for $12 to anywhere in Australia - Our workshops are generally held upstairs (one flight) in our new Scent Lab, please contact us in advance if you have mobility concerns or to discuss what alternative arrangements may be available - We have 40 fragrances to choose from and you can mix and match up to 3 different scents for each candle you make. Guidelines

Only suitable for participants aged 10 and up.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel for any reason a full refund is available with 7 days notice. Bookings cancelled between 7 days and 48 hours notice will receive a 50% refund and no refund is available for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice

Numbers on the Day

Minimum of 1 person, Maximum of 26 people.

Spectators

For those not participating there is tables and chairs located outside the room where you can wait. Unfortunately we cannot have spectators in the candle making room unless by prior arrangement due to space restrictions.

Weather

Our candle making experiences are all weather friendly.

Dress Code

Casual dress. We provide aprons to protect your clothing.

Other Info

Not suited to children under the age of 10. Attendees aged 16 or under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
