Experienced pilot

Taking off from Australia’s first international airport at Rose Bay, it is hard not to be awed as beautiful Sydney Harbour unveils itself beneath. The immaculately restored seaplane adds to the nostalgia - such a contrast to the myriad of high-tech cruisers zigzagging the bay. You will gently exit the harbour and marvel at the stunning sandstone cliffs rising abruptly from the sea.

Reaching world famous Bondi Beach your pilot manoeuvres the aircraft so that all on board have a great view of the scores of surfers waiting for the next big wave. From Bondi you head back into the harbour and climb to 1000 feet, even for a seasoned local the vista is truly stunning. Track to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and finish with a complete circuit above both famous icons. On descent back to Rose Bay your pilot points out the beautiful houses of the rich and famous that punctuate the area before gently splashing back down to earth.

What a great day seeing our beautiful harbour up from above. The view was amazing. The staff very friendly and helpful. Great pilot with very informative commentary. He even made a cup of tea and coffee. Will recommend this experience.

One of the most breathtaking things I've done

[Employee of redballoon] This is the most beautiful plane ride I've ever taken. The weather wasn't even a perfect clear day and ever minute was so beautiful. Going around Sydney Harbour and the beach cliffsides, no matter where you were in the plane you saw it all. The team made it really easy to get on/off the plane and were very informative the whole time. I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone!!

A group of 8 of us took Sydney Harbour Scenic Seaplane Flight . It was smooth administration and nice flight .Pilot provided good information before and during flight. we were lucky weather was quite good as well!

My son purchased the Red Ball8vouchet for Christmas. Straight away I booked my flight on the Seaplane. I loved every minute. I pilot was great, he gave us lots of information regarding the beginning of the sea planes in Australia. I saw so much of Sydney Harbour that I had not seen before. Being in the air over the top of the Sydney Heads and all the houses that were so close to the edge. It was amazing.

Seaplane was more than my expectations.

Absolutely brilliant flight - the company were professional without being overbearing. As a local I liked that it wasn't too heavy on the tourist component. I 'co-pilotted' (well I sat in the co pilot seat) which meant I heard less of the commentary, but saw everything no matter which direction we faced. Absolute ripper! PS my pilot wasn't too hard on the eyes either!

Fantastic experience. Very professional. Friendly staff. It was perfect weather when we went up so that always helps. Flew over Bondi Beach and then past the Harbour Bridge & Opera House. 15 mins goes very fast when you are enjoying yourselves. Lovely way to see our wonderful Harbour. Very smooth take off and landing.
