On this 90 minute tour, you’ll dive deep into the rich maritime history of Port Adelaide, learning about the famous ships and landmarks as you cruise down its length. You’ll also have the opportunity to enter Port Adelaide’s completely unique Ships Graveyard, where the vessel will cruise past giant wrecks, half-submerged in the hidden backwaters of the Port River. Next up, enjoy a cruise through the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary searching for local dolphins, one of the only wild dolphin populations living within a city. Please note that a dolphin sighting is not guaranteed, as these are wild animals and they come and go as they please. Lastly, you’ll cruise towards the bird sanctuary where there's an opportunity to see migra­to­ry shore­birds, includ­ing threat­ened species such as Curlew sand­piper as well as well-known Aussie favourites.

  • Cruise departs daily at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm or on request
  • Guests must arrive 15 minutes before departure

  • A full refund is provided to guests if the tour is cancelled due to poor weather conditions and an alternative time is not established to undertake the tour.

Port River Cruise was great enjoyable day.

We really enjoyed our Cruise, Sam the Captain was really knowledgeable and made our day great. We are locals but learned so much about our river and the ship graveyard. Even saw several dolphins which was a bonus. Definitely recommend to locals and visitors to our State.
