Fine wine and fine food; a recipe for pure pleasure! Chose your lunch venue from three of the Hunter Valleys fines restaurants; Esca at Bimbdagen, Hunters Quarter at Cocfighters Hhost or The Gates at Leogate. Enjoy a spectacular scenic flight, three course meal whilst taking in the stunning views. All of the above restaurants offer exquisite meals complemented by a wide selection of excellent local wines from which to choose. They all focus on quality, creating intensely sophisticated yet simple flavours incorporating the rich local and seasonal produce. Include with this a spectacular helicopter scenic flight over the Hunter Valley Wine Country and a truly relaxing atmosphere when you know you don't have to rush or wait for you helicopter to pick you up. Upon arrival the pilot will provide his number, so you can call and arrange a pickup time that is suitable to you.

Scenic Hunter Valley Heli Flight & 3 course lunch

Hunter Valley Helicopters booked the restaurant for us. We had the choice of 3 restaurants and chose The Gates at Leogates Estate. The heli flight was very smooth, we really enjoyed looking over the Hunter Valley and wished we could have stayed in the air longer. Lunch was delicious and the view of the Broken Back Range was spectacular, we were very fortunate that the weather was so good. There was no time frame at the restaurant, Jacob our pilot told us not to rush and just contact him when we were ready. A really enjoyable experience.

I purchased the scenic flight and 3 course lunch for my husband for our anniversary and booked it in on his birthday. It was the most incredible experience and we were both so impressed by the whole experience start to finish. James the pilot was lovely and even took photos of us and the staff at Hunters Quarter were great and the food was exceptional. We could not fault this experience.

My boyfriend and I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Scenic Heli Flight and 3-Course Lunch, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! Our pilot, Adam, was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to point out key landmarks from above. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We chose The Gates Restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. This ride exceeded all expectations and left us eager for another flight ☺️

My partner and I went on an amazing helicopter ride over the beautiful Hunter valley and finished off with an exquisite lunch at Esca restaurant and wine tasting at binbadgen winery. The whole day was incredible, it truly was a VIP experience. Highly recommend Red Balloon tours!!!

This was truly an unbelievable experience. Our Helicopter driver was knowledgeable and had a great energy. Our meal at Escara was beautiful. We were not rushed out, we could enjoy the wine, food and views. Truly an experience to spoil a loved one or to truly enjoy the Hunter Valley.

The helicopter ride put the wineries into perspective from above, our pilot was genuinely friendly and accommodating, and what a fabulous way to arrive/depart for a long lunch. Hunters Quarter was a memorable experience all to itself. Again....fabulous!
