We did a number of abseils then we did rock climbing which of course if you climb up, you have to come down, so another abseil experience. Both the instructors were so experienced and very calm and supportive of anyone a little apprehensive, nothing or no one was a problem for the two instructors, they were fantastic, and keen to help us all to have an excellent time!!

★★★★★ ★★★★★ Fantasic Day Out! Micheala 27 September 2021 My sister booked my partner and I in for a full day of abseiling and rock climbing through Red Balloon. Firstly, booking through Red Balloon was easy. We turned up to the location, our expert and guide for the day, Aiden, , had already set up all the equipment and ropes and we got straight into our harnesses and helmet early. The equipment looked brand new, it was in great condition. We walked into the Morialta Conservation Park for our first adventure; abseiling! There were 5 of us in total, a group of three in addition to my partner and I. Aiden said they limit their groups to a maximum of 6, to ensure a great day out. Instructions were clear and we had 2 ropes connecting us for safety. One controlled by Aiden and the other by ourselves. My partner went first (no fear!) then I went next and Aiden was the perfect person to help get me down the first go! It was around a 20metre abseil drop! (it looked like a lot more!) We then abseiled another 6-7 times each before heading down for rock climbing. This was fantastic, we were taught to belay (being the person controlling the rope for the climber!) and there were plenty of rock faces and ropes set up to have as many goes as we wanted at a variety of levels. At the end of the day we decided to do extra abseiling. It was a fantastic day, and Aiden tailored our day to what we wanted to do more of. I highly recommend this adventure day. The instructors were great and told us exactly what we needed to know and how to do it. They even gave us options to complete more difficult climbs which was great even though we failed to complete them. During our climbs they were giving us help tips on where to put our feet and hands which help build our confidence. The views were great from the top!
