The slow crawl along the Brisbane River to the Koala Sanctuary was just perfect on a nice warm day; even better with the history commentary and trivia points. Our hosts on the boat were very nice too. Once we got going, the breeze standing on the front of the boat was so incredible. As we got further and further away from the city, it felt like we were transported to another world. The Koala Sanctuary was nice and relaxed as well. We didn't expect that it would also be home to so many other animals (snakes, dingo's, lizards, birds, kangaroos and so on). Shout out to the presenters and workers of the park as well. Really nice and hospitable. A beautiful day out exploring a hidden gem of Brisbane. All the crew members were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Our grandson had a ball at the koala sanctuary seeing all the animals and feeding the kangaroos. We were very impressed with the choice of food and drink available at the onboard cafe and we enjoyed delicious toasties and wine and beer on the sail back to Brisbane. The food and drink were very reasonably priced. A lovely way to end a fun, sunny day!I I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Brisbane. A fantastic day out! The boat leaves from an easy to find spot along the river near the famous Brisbane sign in the river. A casual cruise up the river past some historical sites and beautiful homes. The sanctuary itself is well laid out and offers a great experience overall. Our kids loved the whole experience and can highly recommend it.

We couldn't recommend it enough, the boat trip is such a lovely experience and gives the opportunity to learn about some of the history. The time allowed in the koala sanctuary is just the right amount as it allows you to see everything but not get too bored. We will be recommending this to all friends and family who come to visit Brisbane.

The Koala Sanctuary was great to wander around in a bush setting. Our favourite was the raptor bird show but there are plenty of great animal displays and don't forget the Koala's. The park is compact so there is plenty of time.
