Escape for three hours to the Low Isles off Port Douglas, where a guided snorkel tour takes you into a sheltered coral lagoon. After a scenic 30 minute cruise, you will arrive in clear water with two hours and 30 minutes to explore. Slip in alongside your guide to spot more than 150 varieties of coral and tropical fish, then use your free time to snorkel at your own pace or wander the island past its historic lighthouse, weather station and busy birdlife.
If you would rather stay dry, a glass bottom boat brings the reef to you, or you can simply stretch out on the sand. Snorkelling gear, Lycra suits, flotation devices and prescription masks are all provided, and a fruit platter with tea and coffee is served as you cruise.
