This turbo rally drive is your chance to try your hand at being a rally driver. Take a champion spec Turbo Subaru STI, Mitsubishi or Toyota 86 around the rally track for 8 laps, testing your skills. Then enjoy a hot lap with a real rally driver to see how the professionals do it!

Have you ever dreamed of getting behind the wheel of a real Australian Championship rally car? This is not TV, it's for real. Racing seats and harness, Turbo 4WD, huge roll cage and the best suspension set up money can buy.

Your experience begins with an introduction to our team, find out who is who, then get a briefing on driving safety, the cars and how to get the best out of the experience. Choose your car (if you want, or we can choose for you). We have over 15 Subaru and Mitsubishi turbo rally cars, you can select your favourite model. After the briefing, we find you a helmet then over to the cars, and it's time to get dirty. A familiarisation lap is always a good idea, and your instructor is with you pointing out the braking and gear change points, he is there to coach you in the best way to drive these cars fast and in control. Be surprised by the grip available, even on the dirt. Challenge yourself, control your slides, and maximise your speed down the next straight.

This experience takes place on selected weekend days throughout the year, this will be organised by the experience provider
You should allow 2 hours for the session

Guidelines

Minimum age is 17 years
Participants must hold at least Provisional license
Participants must have a zero blood alcohol concentration
Height and weight restrictions are maximum 193cm (6”3') and 130kg as a safety requirement
Dogs are not permitted in the vehicle during your driving experience. However, well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend and spectate while remaining on a lead at all times

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Overall, the experience was good. But it was not 9 laps as it mentions in the sales pitch. It was more like 8 half laps. The only full lap was the "hot lap". So really it was 4 full laps and 1 "hot lap". Maybe the title should be changed ?

Rally driving experience

Had a good time. Well organised. Good cars. Small circuit, but great for beginners. I had experience in rallying, decades ago. So it was terrific Fun to drive a modern beast. Took 2 hours to get to place from Hurstville. Sydney. Recommend you make a day of it. Explore Historic Windsor, get food/drink there and then enjoy the scenic drive up the Putty Rd. I’m older(63) so getting in and out of the cars was awkward. My problem not theirs. And make sure you wear the helmet liner properly. My photos made me look like I was Kenny from South Park. Ha ha.

the professional drivers were super calm and whilst I'd consider myself to have above average driving capability I learned a truckload from them. Great fun and highly recommended!

After decades as a rally fan the chance to drive rally cars was fantastic as well as a great learning experience for car control. Good organisation and friendly approach from Mick was a plus.

We bought this experience for our son for Christmas and he absolutely loved it! he couldn't wipe the smile off his face. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. They made sure he was comfortable and gave us lots of photo opportunities for memory making! The drivers were wonderful and we had full confidence in their skills and safety for our son. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun experience! we will definitely be going back for more!
