This turbo rally drive is your chance to try your hand at being a rally driver. Take a champion spec Turbo Subaru or Mitsubishi around the rally track for 8 laps, testing your skills. Then enjoy a hot lap with a real rally driver to see how the professionals do it!

Have you ever dreamed of getting behind the wheel of a real Australian Championship rally car? This is not TV, it's for real. Racing seats and harness, Turbo 4WD, huge roll cage and the best suspension set up money can buy.

Your experience begins with an introduction to our team, find out who is who, then get a briefing on driving safety, the cars and how to get the best out of the experience. Choose your car (if you want, or we can choose for you). We have over 15 Subaru and Mitsubishi turbo rally cars, you can select your favourite model. After the briefing, we find you a helmet then over to the cars, and it's time to get dirty. A familiarisation lap is always a good idea, and your instructor is with you pointing out the braking and gear change points, he is there to coach you in the best way to drive these cars fast and in control. Be surprised by the grip available, even on the dirt. Challenge yourself, control your slides, and maximise your speed down the next straight. After your driving , we let you catch your breath, then strap you into the co-drivers seat for your hi speed hot lap in the hands of one of the pros. Hang on tight!

Weather

We operate in light showers but in the case of heavy or persistent rain we will contact you via SMS to cancel. Your experience will then be rescheduled for a later date.

Please wear long pants and enclosed shoes

Remember to bring a camera, hat, sunglasses, a cheer squad, positive attitude and the expectation to not only learn but have a fantastic day getting dirty!

Cannot recommend this Rally experience enough! I could have done it all day. Great instruction and totally safe. The hot laps at the end with the professional driver was epic also!

Pretty underwhelming

After a long drive out of Perth you wait in a paddock for a bit while they come and get you. Waiting is what you get to do a lot of on this experience. There's about fifteen people and only 2 or 3 get to go at a time (depending on how many cars are broken down). So in a total of about 2 hours you spend 10 or 15 minutes behind the wheel - if you only buy 8 laps. The circuit is pretty small (and thrashed) so no chance to build up any decent speed. The cars are pretty old too. Its a taste more than an experience. Fun if you're a young novice. The staff were all friendly though. If you are going to make the effort - buy some extra 'laps'
