A rally drive experience like no other; this package includes 4 familarisation laps with a skilled driver behind the wheel. Next up, hop in a turbo Subaru WRX or a Mitsubishi Evo and drive 8 laps, maybe even drifting round corners. Finish with a hot lap so you can see how the professionals do it!

Your experience begins with an introduction to your professional rally drivers/instructors, then a briefing on how to get the most out of your rally experience. You will then jump into the passenger seat and a professional driver will take you for 4 familiarisation laps, this is where they will demonstrate and explain the dynamics of rally driving, the lines, balance, weight transfer and using the speed of the car to generate grip. This will make you faster and safer when it's time for you to get behind the wheel. Then it’s time to put on your race helmet and strap into the driver’s seat of either a Subaru WRX STI or Mitsubishi Evo, you get to choose! You’ll drive 8 laps with your instructor sitting beside you, guiding you the entire way. Once you’ve finished your 8 laps, you will swap seats and the professional rally driver will take you for a hot lap! Experience the amazing speed as the pro pushes the car to its limit.

Important information

Session Length

The whole session runs for approx. 2 hours including safety briefing and time in the car.

Guidelines

Minimum age is 17 years
Participants must hold at least Provisional license
Participants must have a zero blood alcohol concentration
Height and weight restrictions are maximum 193cm (6”3') and 130kg as a safety requirement
Automatic car is a Toyota 86
Dogs are not permitted in the vehicle during your driving experience. However, well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend and spectate while remaining on a lead at all times

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

The price quoted is for one person.

Weather

Rally driving is affected by poor weather. Your experience may be postponed due to rain, in the interest of everyone’s safety, and a 'good' experience. Please contact the supplier after 7.30am on the day of the event if you are concerned about rain.

Dress Code

Wear long pants and enclosed shoes, the floor of the cars can be quote hot. Sunglasses are fine too.

Other Info

Remember to bring a camera, hat, sunglasses, a cheer squad, positive attitude and the expectation to not only learn but have a fantastic day getting dirty!

Rally Drive at Cessnock

Was greeted with a friendly smile and made very welcome. Instructor was very thorough and gave us a good run down of what to expect on our drive. Have always wanted to do something like this and was a little apprehensive about how I would fare. My driver/instructor took me on the "learning curve" 4 laps before putting me behind the wheel for the next 8 laps. After 2 laps I was starting to get the hang of things and at the end of 8 laps I was wanting another 20. Under Ryan's calm guidance I loved every second and wanted more. He then did a lap showing me how they do it. During the total driving session, my blood pressure did not raise one beat. Left the track on a high which lasted for a couple of days. If you are stalling on making the decision on doing this, do it. You will not regret it at all.

Amazing experience, loved the opportunity to drive different types of Rally Cars and the hotlap with the pro was incredible as well. Loved it, would highly recommend. Although do note that if you are a spectator there is nothing nearby for tea/coffee etc so bring anything you need with you!

I highly recommend this half day rally experience as it is great fun day out. Plenty of laps to drive and not to forget the fast hot laps by the professional. The drive coaches and all the staff involved were very friendly and helpful. I have done this experience before and will be doing it again in the future.

Great experience hosted by a friendly and inviting team. Very professional in their approach and a well structured and safe experience. Despite warm conditions no request was too hard and the team made sure everybody got the most out of the experience, regardless of driving competence.

RALLY CAR EXPERIENCE NOT GREAT

The experience was good,not great. The instructors were good and friendly but did not allow me to speed as fast as I thought I could safely.A bit boring. Compared with driving a V8 Experience at Eastern Creek, it came a long way second.

Wow, what a way to spend an afternoon. These guys are insane! If you are after an adrenaline buzz, this is it! Not only do you learn techniques, you get to put it into practice. And then you get to see how it's really done! I couldn't wipe the grin off my face.
