A 13 Lap rally drive with a difference, this experience includes 4 familiarisation laps with a professional showing you around the track, then you will drive a turbo Subaru STI or Mitsubishi Evo for 8 laps before swapping seats again for a flat our hot lap. This is a complete rally experience.

Your experience begins with an introduction to your professional rally drivers/instructors, then a briefing on how to get the most out of your rally experience. You will then jump into the passenger seat and a professional driver will take you for 4 familiarisation laps, this is where they will demonstrate and explain the dynamics of rally driving, the lines, balance, weight transfer and using the speed of the car to generate grip. This will make you faster and safer when it's time for you to get behind the wheel.

Then it’s time to put on your race helmet and strap into the driver’s seat of either a Subaru WRX STI or Mitsubishi Evo, you get to choose! You’ll drive 8 laps with your instructor sitting beside you, guiding you the entire way.

Once you’ve finished your 8 laps, you will swap seats and the professional rally driver will take you for a hot lap! Experience the amazing speed as the pro pushes the car to its limit.

Important information

Session Length

The session runs for approx 2 hours, you will be in a group with other drivers, sharing a number of cars. This time includes sign in and briefing, your driving and hot lap.

Guidelines

Minimum age is 17 years
Participants must hold at least Provisional license
Participants must have a zero blood alcohol concentration
Height and weight restrictions are maximum 193cm (6”3') and 130kg as a safety requirement
Participants must be proficient with a manual transmission
Dogs are not permitted in the vehicle during your driving experience. However, well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend and spectate while remaining on a lead at all times

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

The price quoted is for one person.

Weather

Rally driving is affected by poor weather. Your experience may be postponed due to rain, in the interest of everyone’s safety, and a 'good' experience. Please contact the supplier after 7.30am on the day of the event if you are concerned about rain.

Dress Code

Wear long pants and enclosed shoes, the floor of the cars can be hot. Sunglasses and sunscreen recommended.

Other Info

Remember to bring a camera, hat, sunglasses, a cheer squad, positive attitude and the expectation to not only learn but have a fantastic day getting dirty!

The Guys there were Great, there was a small wait between each part of the experience but all in all i was left wanting more. Phil (my instructor) could see that i had prior racing experience and let me actually push the car. Id Recommend it again!

Great and awesome experience. The instructors were very engaging and clear. Track had a good lay out. But the hot lap was the high light for me, was definitely worth it. Bonus was being able to capture footage with my personal go pro.

I had a fantastic time with the guys from the Rally School. The instructors were great (Internet high five Vince) and I learnt a lot. I enjoyed it so much I signed up for additional laps and would definately recommend anyone to give it a go. And wow, the hot lap. It really shows you what the cars can do with someone who knows what they are doing behind the wheel.

Rally Drive day was fantastic.

Well organised, approx 12 participants in our session in and out in 3hrs. Interesting briefing by Mike. Awesome hot lap in the Toyota 86 with Andy, glad I brought a change of jocks. Thumbs up to all. Will be back for more. :-)

Rally Drive was an amazing experience, I am more experienced in an auto which was flexible for me. Hot lap I could do over and over it was such a thrilling experience. Instructors were so friendly and funny.

Fun driving but it went too quick

It was fun driving the car on the dirt track, but it was a very short course and the 6 laps was over in very quick succession, personally i did not feel it was value for money, Compared to other track days i've done this one was not one of the best, Wont be back

Strapping into the seat of a rally car was an experience not to forget! Blistering pace, tight turns and an instructor who was a true expert in the field! When it came to experiencing a hot lap it was an opportunity to see what he car and a true rally driver was capable of! With lots of dust, tail slides I would highly recommend this experience
