What a blast! Jump into the driver's seat for a Half Day Rally Driving in a championship spec car, you drive at least 28 laps of this gravel rally course. There are a fleet of Turbo Subaru STIs and Mitsubishi Evos for you to drive. Your day will be topped off by hot lap with a pro race driver.

This is a gift to remember! Spend a half day driving real rally cars, and spend time in the passenger seat for two hot laps. During the day you are given four driving sessions for a total of at least 28 laps of gravel rally practice stage. With experienced instructors leading you all the way, you'll learn the basics of professional rally driving techniques. Learn to use brakes to generate grip and attitude. Improve speed and technique with each lap. To top everything off, after you've driven, you'll be strapped into the passenger seat and taken for two hot lap blasts with a professional! This is guaranteed to leave a smile on your dial.

Session Length

The day generally starts at 8.30am and finishes at 12.30pm

Guidelines

Minimum age is 17 years
Participants must hold at least Provisional license
Participants must have a zero blood alcohol concentration
Height and weight restrictions are maximum 193cm (6”3') and 130kg as a safety requirement
Participants must be proficient with a manual transmission

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

We operate in light showers but in the case of heavy or persistent rain we will contact you via SMS to cancel. Your experience will then be rescheduled for a later date.

Dress Code

Please wear long pants and enclosed shoes

Other Info

Remember to bring a camera, hat, sunglasses, a cheer squad, positive attitude and the expectation to not only learn but have a fantastic day getting dirty!

Rally driving experience was excellent!

The half day package was excellent. Had 4 sessions under instruction to learn the basics of rally driving in a proper rally car, followed by an extended hot lap with a pro! WRX, Evo and 86 cars used for the sessions. Definitely something you should do!

Recieved a Red Balloon voucher through work (retirement) and opted for the 3 hot laps at Walkley Park to use up part of the voucher. The venue is a reasonable distance from the Adelaide metro area and it was a long way to go for three hot laps. Venue and staff running it are excellent, very accomodating and a professional, yet casual, approach. Perfect. The driver certainly knew how to get the best out of the track and car and they explained it well as we went about the laps. They were quick 'hot laps' and it was all over in about 5 minutes. Certainly an experience I will remember. As to value for money, I would suggest it's a long way to go for three hot laps and then turn around and come back. They do offer longer self drive packages, which include a single hot lap, so if it is something you really want to do then definitely pick one of them (or the half day package). As for me, I just wanted someone to give me a full-on ride and I definitely got that - I would be too cautious and wouldn't get value for money doping one of the longer self drive packages.

Purchased as a gift. Day was really well laid out, instructors were fanatic and knowledgeable. Great viewing platforms for spectators. Different selection of cars and a chance to drive them all. Would highly recommend.

Overall it was a good event But only thing was that I wasn’t really good that I was told to stop or slow because I was catching other cars on the track which I feel wasted my laps

My son had the best day out. Was made to feel special and enjoyed every minute. The crew were fantastic and friendly and really professional. Definitely a birthday to remember. We highly recommend this experience to every one who enjoys having a great day with thrills and adrenaline.

It was great to re-experience rally years past. The RallySchool Team were brilliant, location great including for spectators on the day. Option to gave drive session and hot lap recorded was excellent. I'd recommend this option to all participants.

The rally csr driving 3 hot laps was way to expensive for what it was meant to be, only happened in 3 minutes and was not worth going all that way for that. The rally car driving was fun but just not worth the time or the money
