★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended Excellent experience - over way too quick Neil 18 March 2024 Recieved a Red Balloon voucher through work (retirement) and opted for the 3 hot laps at Walkley Park to use up part of the voucher. The venue is a reasonable distance from the Adelaide metro area and it was a long way to go for three hot laps. Venue and staff running it are excellent, very accomodating and a professional, yet casual, approach. Perfect. The driver certainly knew how to get the best out of the track and car and they explained it well as we went about the laps. They were quick 'hot laps' and it was all over in about 5 minutes. Certainly an experience I will remember. As to value for money, I would suggest it's a long way to go for three hot laps and then turn around and come back. They do offer longer self drive packages, which include a single hot lap, so if it is something you really want to do then definitely pick one of them (or the half day package). As for me, I just wanted someone to give me a full-on ride and I definitely got that - I would be too cautious and wouldn't get value for money doping one of the longer self drive packages.
