Explore the ancient landscapes of Western Australia and journey into the Pinnacles Desert. Spend the afternoon sandboarding, wildflower spotting and learning about Aboriginal practices, and an evening enjoying a delicious bbq dinner, gazing at the stars and listening to sound healing in the desert.
Start the day with a pick up from your Perth City accomodation and make the journey north to the small fishing town of Lancelin for some afternoon tea at a local bakery, followed by an adventure in the famous Lancelin Sand Dunes. Be awestruck by the colossal towers of pure white sand surrounding you, before hopping on your sandboard and taking them head on. After some exhilarating sandboarding action, you'll enjoy a scenic drive along the Indian Ocean Drive where you'll visit Nilgen Nature Reserve to spot some wildflowers in season. Take a walk along the coast to discover native plants used by the local Aboriginal people for food and medicine before heading into the desert.
Arrive at the truly spectacular Pinnacles Desert where your grand, evening desert adventure awaits. Watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean from the most stunning vantage points while enjoying a delicious barbeque dinner with a glass of West Australian wine to match. After dinner, your guide will give you a tour of the night sky and teach you about Indigenous astronomy. Learn about the creation of the universe and enjoy a close-up view of the galaxy using the telescopes and astrobinoculars provided. You'll finish the evening off with the ancient art of sound healing by candlelight, with a didgeridoo and crystal sound healing bowl making sweet tunes to soothe your soul.

This experience runs in all weather conditions. There are multiple plans in place to deal with adverse weather.
Please wear walking shoes, warm clothes for the evening, a hat and sunglasses.
