Established in 1849, Yalumba is Australia's most historic family-owned winery, home to exceptionally high-quality wines. Upon arrival, you'll be led through a private structured wine tasting with one of their wine ambassadors. You'll learn about their Distinguished Sites wines as you taste your way through the range, before picking your favourite bottle for the picnic. With guidance from the staff and precinct map, you will choose your picturesque spot on the grounds to enjoy your picnic filled with local produce like cheese, cured meats, dried and fresh fruits and bread, paired with your chosen Yalumba bottle of wine.

Important information

Session Length

The structured wine tasting is approximately 45 minutes in duration
Set up your picnic at a location of your choice and then there is no time limit to how long you wish to stay and enjoy the grounds

Guidelines

Participants must be 18 years and over as this experience involves alcohol; photo ID may be required
Please note, as they are a working winery the team will note area you will be able to enjoy your picnic. Please respect areas that are out of bounds

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Yalumba wine tasting and picnic

Our arrival was greeted in a friendly and inviting way. Due to potential inclement weather we decided to ‘picnic’ on the couch in front of the warm crackling open fire. The red wines were wonderful and the prepared picnic plate delicious.
