Head to Avoca Lake and take advantage of unlimited stand-up paddle board, kayak and pedal boat hire for two hours. This activity begins with an on-shore demo to get you confidently paddling on all watercrafts if desired before you're free to explore the beautiful waterway on your own. As you take in the picturesque scenery around you, you won't even notice you're exercising!

This experience is part of the Responsible range because they are ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.

Important information

Session Length

Hire period to use all equipment (if desired) is up to two hours
Available weekends and every day during school holidays, from 10am to 5pm
Not available from May through to end of August

Guidelines

Family price is valid for two adults and two children (aged 0-15)
Minimum age is 10 years old to use SUP on own. SUP boards carry up to 110kg
A basic to moderate fitness level is suggested

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

Subject to weather restrictions, particularly strong winds and rain. Rescheduling can be made by either operator or participant as long as sufficient notice is given.

Dress Code

Swimwear, rashie and hat. No shoes required.

Other Info

No booking is necessary but voucher must be redeemed through Red Balloon site before arrival. You may be prompted to select a booking date and time, but you can then come at any time during opening hours.

Location

This experience takes place at Avoca Lake, a 15 minute drive from Gosford and 5 minutes south of Terrigal Beach.

Great family experience

We did everything on offer in this package - kayaks, stand up paddle boards and pedal boats and were able to fit all in to the 2 hours which was just about perfect timing. All of us loved it. Highly recommend it!

Calm waters, friendly people and plenty of space!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Avoca Lake making use of both the stand up paddleboards and the 2-person kayak. We arrived soon after opening which I would recommend as we had first choice of vessel and avoided the lines which seemed to grow as the day progressed. Despite so many vessels being rented, there was plenty of space on the lake and plenty of bays and channels to explore. A glorious day out, will be trying our best to return!

The lake is a nice area to kayak, paddle board or bedal boat around. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Great value for money to be able to pay for a couple of hours and switch between equipment as many times as required. Definitely recommended.

I booked this experience for my partner and I for a late birthday present and I was not disappointed. It was great value, the scenery was just gorgeous at Avoca Lake and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The serenity of the water as you make your way around the island is exactly what one needs at the end of a busy week. I couldn’t recommend this experience more! Very happy :)

The weather was perfect. The Aqua Fun crew were very nice. In the 2 hr experience we tried all equipment -paddle boarding kayaking and the pedal boat. It was great experience which we will do again Thankyou
