Schedule a visit to Rayner's Orchard on your next trip to the Yarra Valley. This family run, environmentally sustainable fruit orchard grows over 450 varieties of fruit including peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, pomegranate, figs, kiwi fruit and various citrus. Well trained staff at Rayner's Orchard will guide you through the orchard on a tractor where you'll learn interesting facts and sample ripe fruit straight off the tree (usually 8-12 varieties). Leave with a 1kg box of seasonal produce to take home and enjoy with the family.

This experience is part of the Responsible range because they do not use artificial sprays to deal with pests and have an efficient water management program in place.

  • Opening hours: 9am-4pm. Last tour leaves at 3pm

While very busy in the morning, the staff were all extremely friendly and relaxed. Len was really good at keeping us all well stocked with fruit, while also explaining the many different kinds of fruits and strategies to manage an orchard. Remember to bring a hat!
