Located in Dysart House, a stunning heritage-listed 1840's mansion, Old Kempton Distillery is Tasmania's eighth registered distillery and specialises in artisan spirits. Enjoy a tour of Dysart House and uncover the inner workings of the distillery during an in-depth behind the scenes tour. You'll then enjoy a customised tasting of four Old Kempton products of your choice, from premium single malt whisky, gin or liqueur. Wrap up your time spent at the distillery grazing on an antipasto platter showcasing some of the finest Tasmanian produce.

Session Length

This experience is approximately two hours, however you are welcome to stay as long as you like.

Guidelines

Please advise any dietary requirements at the time of booking
Participants must be over the age of 18 to be served alcohol; photo ID will be required. Under 18's are welcome to attend in the company of an adult but cannot taste any spirits

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

The tour was great & the guide was very knowledgeable. We went on a Sunday so the distillery wasn't operating on the weekend, however he said during the weekdays you can see in action. Tour we booked included a taster paddle each & a huge platter for two of delicious meats, cheese & antipasto. We really enjoyed it and bought some whiskey & wine from the gift shop.

The tour was thorough but quick, and the lunch was delicious. All of the spirits we tasted were amazing, we were so impressed. The staff were great and the old heritage buildings were beautiful, such a lovely place! Would highly recommend.
