There's great local beer on the Northern Beaches and this tour is all about getting you behind the scenes of the breweries. Your guide's passion for beer and local production means you will get the real insider's experience along with tasting some of the best locally crafted beers around!

Your tour will commence at Nomad Brewing Co. An Aussie-Italian joint venture, the Nomad team have been in beer for a long time. Having brought over a brauhaus from Italy, they have made their mark on the local scene with quality beers brewed out of what was once a carpet warehouse. You'll chat to the brewers and team and get to experience their beers first hand.

Next is Modus Operandi Brewing Co. In its short history has taken the local beer scene by storm. The once most northern brewery in Sydney also happens to be its most awarded, and these guys never fail to impress. Sit back, relax and taste some of the finest locally brewed beers around as we enjoy a relaxed lunch.

Depending on the day, we may head further north to check out 4 Pines Newport Public House to see what is happening in their barrels, or we head back down to Brookvale for more beers at Dad n Daves, Bucketty's, Quakers Hat or some gins at Manly Spirits Co.

Please note that not every tour visits the same three breweries, and the above serves as a guide only.

Session Length

This experience is available on Saturdays and runs from 11am/12pm until 4/5pm.

Participants must be over 18 years old and must bring valid identification.

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

A minimum of 8 participants are required to run each tour.

This tour takes place on Sydney's Northern Beaches and departs 11am from Surry Hills or meet us at 12pm at Nomad in Brookvale.

Great day with very knowledgeable host and enthusiastic brewery staff members. Visited 4 breweries in total - very different styles of beers at each venue. Excellent value. Good fun meeting other people on the tour. Maybe consider including distilleries as an option instead of only breweries.

Was a great way to see the different breweries whilst relaxing, all inclusive made it a great value, lunch was amazing, small group was great, Terry the host was very personable and put a lot of effort into making it an enjoyable trip! Will definitely use again.

Felt like a money can't buy tour!

The tour had only 3 guests (including myself). It started in Central (although could meet at Manly). Whilst waiting for the other two parties who were slightly late, the tour guide made sure I was well nourished with a beer on the company. I did inform him, it was not necessary, however, he went beyond and above the level of customer service I expected. It was an amazing tour and you don’t feel like cattle class with a million people. The tour had water and some chips to soak up the beer, followed by a gourmet lunch included! The breweries weren’t too far but, I have lived in Sydney for 29 years and had never known of the locations, names or whereabouts. It was a truly spectacular tour, so much so that, I am thinking of rebooking!

What a great day we had touring micro breweries on the northern beaches. Brad, our guide, was so knowledgeable about all aspects of brewing. He has a wealth of information. Lunch was included and we yummy.

Tour guide Terry, gave us a detailed overview of beer brewing while we tasted the various beers at 4 Pines. Visited 3 other breweries in Mona Vale/Brookvale and tasted their different brews. Recommend this tour to get a really great experience of variety of craft beers available to drink.

A great day out with friendly and knowledgeable guides. Plenty of beer to taste of all different varieties with a good lunch in between. Really enjoyed the tours of the breweries to see how the whole process works. You can learn a lot!
