Spend a morning making new friends and learning all about Moroccan cuisine. Overlooking St Kilda bay, you'll enjoy cooking up a variety of Moroccan dishes before sitting down together to enjoy a four course feast for lunch, perfectly matched with a glass of wine.

The dishes you'll cook vary with the seasons, but here's a taste of what you can expect.

  • Moroccan Batbout, a flat bread eaten at every Moroccan meal
  • Bessara, a Moroccan fava dip
  • Honey salted aubergines
  • Cucumber and mint sorbet
  • Beetroot and orange spiced soup
  • Berber omelette tagine with Marrakesh meatballs
  • Chermoula duck, lamb, beef and vegetable tagines
  • B’Stilla, a spiced, sweet and savoury, layered pigeon or chicken pie
  • Rosewater meringues with dates and almonds
  • Saffron custards with cinnamon oranges
  • Cardamom macaroons

Session Length

  • This experience runs for a full day, from 8:45am - 3.30pm
  • Classes run on Thursday, Saturdays and occasional Sundays

Guidelines

  • All participants must be over 18 years, unless accompanied by an adult
  • Most dietary requirements can be accommodated; please advise at time of booking
  • Please wear comfortable closed-in shoes, and tie hair back

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and are arranged directly with them according to their policy.

Numbers on the Day

Classes are limited to 9 participants with one chef plus a kitchen steward assistant.

Dress Code

For safety reasons, participants are asked to wear covered in, comfortable shoes.
