Grab your fellow foodie and prepare a fun filled adventure on the Mornington Peninsula with this Mystery Picnic Experience. This experience will take you on an exciting and delicious scavenger hunt around the treasure of Victoria's coastline. You will be sent clues and riddles to solve, leading you to a number of local producers where you'll gather the most incredible picnic spread along the way.

Once all items have been collected, you'll make your way to a picturesque picnic spot to lay out your blanket, take a seat and indulge in your feast. With all produce and drinks included, all you have to do is use your mystery solving skills and have a whole lot of fun. This experience is the perfect unique date idea with your loved one or a fun and exciting adventure with a foodie friend!

Important information

Session Length

This experience is approximately four to four hours and 30 minutes in duration
Available Tuesday to Sunday between 9am and 12pm
The starting time is when you need to be at your first location on the Mornington Peninsula, which is revealed the evening before

Guidelines

Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking
The picnic can be completely gluten free, lactose free, dairy free, vegetarian or vegan at no extra cost
This experience can cater to pregnancy requirements and nut allergies, but please note that all food items are prepared by third party suppliers
Please reconfirm your dietary requirements and/or allergies with staff at each mystery stop
For the Mystery Picnic Mornington Peninsula, you must supply your picnic basket (or bag to carry the food items in), a picnic blanket and some utensils for this adventure
Please note before your Mystery Picnic, you will be provided with a small checklist of items you must bring

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Mornington mystery picnic was more than we expecte

Cryptic clues were great… not too hard and not too easy! Choices of places were all over the area and maybe had not been to. All the places were great… good food and def enough for 2x Cheese and chocolate tasting was so yum we bought more! Great end picnic area with amazing view. We became with an Elly and ice so everything stayed cool if needed. Especially if you were taking things home. We really enjoyed ourselves and paved our drive to each place. Did not feel rushed and even fit in a wine tasting and perfume making. Def great day out. Our day temp was 24 degrees and it was perfect. Thank you.

Travelling our own Peninsula, picnic style

A great way to explore the best of what Mornington Peninsula has to offer, including culinary gems and hot spots not yet explored. I learnt of new places that I'll now visit again, and got to taste and experience foods in a fun scavenger approach. We enjoyed our foods and had leftovers. The clues were nice and easy to navigate and support was available. All of the staff at the venues were all friendly and I would recommend this for a gift for other friends.

Great little day out

i really think the mystery picnic is definitely not work the money as you don’t get much food and it is costly for 2 people but all the food you get would probaly only add up to around $50. was a nice day to explore and find new places i didn’t know about, was just disappointed with the little amount of food that you get.
