Get your sports fix and dive into the sport capital of Australia on this tour. Visit Flemington Racecourse, drive around the F1 Grand Prix Circuit before an immersive guided tour of the MCG and the Australian Sports Museum. Savour a cafe-style lunch at the Docklands Precinct during the day.
Immerse yourself in the sport capital of Australia as you visit a host of venues that are home to your favourite sporting events. Begin the day with a visit to Flemington Racecourse, home to the 'race that stops the nation,' the Melbourne Cup. Then, go for a spin around the F1 Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit and pass through the 2006 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village. You'll then head over to the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground where you'll explore the inner sanctum of the MCG, stroll across the sacred turf and experience where your favourite legends play. Some highlights of the tour include the MCC long room, MCC library, tapestry, player's change rooms, cricketer's viewing room and the Ron Casey media centre.
After the MCG tour, wander down to the newly refurbished Australian Sports Museum where you'll get lost in rich sporting history, with over 2500 sporting artefacts and extensive multimedia displays on offer. It is exciting and interactive, where the latest technology has been used to creative immersive exhibits and galleries. Over the course of the day, enjoy a delicious cafe-style lunch at the Docklands Precinct to keep those hunger pangs at bay.
