Immerse yourself in the sport capital of Australia as you visit a host of venues that are home to your favourite sporting events. Begin the day with a visit to Flemington Racecourse, home to the 'race that stops the nation,' the Melbourne Cup. Then, go for a spin around the F1 Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit and pass through the 2006 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village. You'll then head over to the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground where you'll explore the inner sanctum of the MCG, stroll across the sacred turf and experience where your favourite legends play. Some highlights of the tour include the MCC long room, MCC library, tapestry, player's change rooms, cricketer's viewing room and the Ron Casey media centre.

After the MCG tour, wander down to the newly refurbished Australian Sports Museum where you'll get lost in rich sporting history, with over 2500 sporting artefacts and extensive multimedia displays on offer. It is exciting and interactive, where the latest technology has been used to creative immersive exhibits and galleries. Over the course of the day, enjoy a delicious cafe-style lunch at the Docklands Precinct to keep those hunger pangs at bay.

Session Length

  • Please allow approximately seven hours for the duration of this experience
  • Available Monday and Friday, departing 8:30am and returning at 3:30pm

Restrictions

* Minimum 6 people required for this tour depart. * ALL venues are active event sites and therefore subject to closure to non-event visitors. For example: Flemington Racecourse is not available to tours during Melbourne Cup Carnival; Albert Park and the GP Circuit are unavailable the week prior to and for a day after the Australia Formula 1 Grand Prix; Australian Open tours only operate on Mondays & Fridays and do not operate from mid-December through to the end of January; and MCG Tours are unavailable at certain times on event days. To the best of our ability we will schedule our tour dates accordingly, however last minute alterations are sometimes unavoidable.

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for any cancellation to avoid a cancellation fee of 25%
  • No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours will not be refunded
