Located on Level 88 of Melbourne Skydeck, you will enjoy an elevated cocktail experience in the Southern Hemisphere's highest observation deck that is guaranteed to impress your date, friend or significant other. Take in the stunning vistas of Melbourne from the sky as you sip on a signature Bar 88 cocktail each while admiring the scenery of Melbourne city.

During your visit to Melbourne Skydeck, become part of the stories of Melbourne with an exceptional VR experience in the Voyager Theatre. Take a seat in one of the Positron Voyager virtual reality pod chairs for an immersive journey of discovery visiting 16 iconic Melbourne landmarks and must-do experiences.

Restrictions

The Virtual Reality experience cannot be booked for a time slot. A table cannot be reserved in Bar 88.

Guidelines

Participants must be 18 years and over as this experience involves alcohol; photo ID may be required.
Arrive anytime on your booking date, from 12pm. See Hours in Session Length.
Participants must book a date via the Red Balloon website prior to arriving at Melbourne Skydeck.
Please bring your RedBalloon confirmation email with you on the day of your experience. If you have not redeemed your voucher prior to visiting you will not be permitted to enter the Skydeck.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Melbourne skydeck cocktails in the clouds

The virtual experience was amazing, highly recommend. The cocktails were undrinkable and we had to leave them behind. They tasted like a chemical and the 2 girls behind the bar were under the pump with a long line of people waiting to be served. I did not want to spend my time lining up again and complain about the cocktails. So that was very disappointing but everything else was great.

I used my Mothers Day Redballoon gift. Firstly we went inside the Voyager Theatre, what an incredible experience! A must do! Then up to the Skydeck….. Wow!!! What a view & enjoyed our cocktails as well. A perfect afternoon in Melbourne.

VR theatre was a great start to the evening

Get there early enough to enjoy the short VR movie before ascending to the Skydeck in time to enjoy the view both in daylight and then after dark. Was busy on a Saturday evening but this did not detract from the experience.
