Sample Australia’s favourite honey wine with a guided 45-minute mead flight at Maxwell Wines, McLaren Vale’s oldest meadery.
Step into Maxwell Wines, where three generations of mead-making come together in the heart of McLaren Vale. One of the oldest alcoholic beverages on record, mead carries centuries of history and flavour in every glass. Over 45 minutes, taste your way through a flight of four distinctive styles, each with its own character and story to tell.
Savour the delicate fizz of a sparkling mead, the honeyed warmth of the classic style, a beautifully spiced variation and a rich, indulgent liqueur finish. A memorable gift for the curious drinker, the wine lover looking for something different or anyone who loves discovering a new favourite.
This experience is located at Maxwell Wines, 19 Olivers Rd, McLaren Vale, SA 5171.
