This unforgettable tour of the MCG will give you exclusive access to all areas of this iconic stadium normally closed to the public, including the player change rooms, press conference and media areas, members only areas including the famous Long Room, and more. Fulfil your dreams of stepping foot on the iconic turf and walk along the sidelines of the arena where some great sporting moments have taken place.

Following your MCG Tour, you'll head to gate 3 and enjoy a visit to the Australian Sports Museum to gain a deeper insight into sports in Australia. You'll be in for a treat as the museum isn't your typical museum; it's exciting, interactive and ever-changing. You'll learn about Australia's rich sporting history and the sporting legends who've made an impact, through fun and immersive exhibits and galleries using the latest technology.

Important information

Session Length

The MCG Tour is approximately 75 minutes in duration
Access the museum any time between 10:00am to 5pm on the day of your booking
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour departure time to ensure the on ground experience can take place due to strict timing with arena staff

You should have a basic level of fitness as some walking is required
Some areas on the tour are subject to availability

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Parts of the tour are outdoors so please ensure suitable clothing is worn in the event of wet weather. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Amazing!

Jenny and Sam, our tour guides, were absolutely amazing. The experience far exceeded our expectation. We even got to go after our afl team played and still had their banners in their rooms! History of the mcg was well explained. We will go again as there was just so much to take in at once. Well worth every penny.

MCG amazing, tour guide below average.

Seeing the MCG was great. It's our third time of doing the tour with friends and family from overseas. The issue is the guides- it's hit and miss on how good they are. Sadly this time the gentleman was brisk, rude to people in and we all felt it was a tick box to getting to his free lunch. They seem to be volunteers so it's hot and miss. But the location is fab, and the museum is spot on!

Great Tour

The tour was quite interesting. Me and my husband know nothing about cricket, but we still enjoyed the experience very much! I'm sure that if we had had some background of the sport we would have enjoyed it more. The tour guide was great, friendly and kept our attention during the whole tour!
