Smell and taste the sun-drenched cuisine of the Mediterranean. Cook dishes from Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, the Middle East, and Morocco, where people are passionate about their food. Explore sweet and sour flavours. Enjoy the cuisine of the sun, experience exotic ingredients, powerful, tangy, colourful flavours, aromatic, fresh herbs and spices, the subtlety of saffron, the delicacy of seafood. Savour flavoursome dishes made from sun-ripened fruit, vegetables, nuts, fresh herbs, the delicacy of rose petals and orange blossoms. Learn to cook taramasalata, tapenades, gazpachos, tagines, Spanish paella, chermoula paste, harissa, aioli , rouile, exotic spice blends including ras el hanout and dukkah. Barbeque whole fish, roast chicken, lamb and goat. Make salads with lentils, freekeh, quinoa, pomegranates, preserved lemons, couscous. Cook with figs and quinces, bake kourambiethes, lemon and honey and orange and almond syrup cakes, spicy panna cottas, date and almond meringues.

Classes are limited to 9 participants with one chef plus a kitchen steward assistant.
Participants are asked to wear covered in, comfortable shoes, for safety reasons.
This experience offers a unique hands-on cooking class day, learning to cook whilst experiencing the glorious view of Port Phillip Bay. The class culminates with your wonderful luncheon, served at a beautifully set table, with interesting wine and enjoyable conversation. You feel like you are at a private dinner party. All classes cook appetizers, soups or entrées, main course and dessert.
Located just opposite the St Kilda boat marina, approximately 8km from the CBD. Free parking is available in the street. Accessible by bus and tram.
