Contrary to its name, Maru Koala Park is home to a range of native and farm animals. You are sure to have a blast during this awesome day out as you explore the Park and all its wonders. Get up close with a koala, hand feed an albino kangaroo, walk with the dingoes and if you're game, let a python wrap itself around you! During your stay, you will create amazing moments with your furry (and scaly) friends that will last for a life time. If you're keen to learn more about the animals and the park, you can join the regular talks and presentations given by their experienced animal keepers and enjoy hourly guided tours inside the koala enclosures with close encounters available to purchase for a little extra where you can pat and feed a koala and get a picture to take home. There will be plenty of amazing photo opportunities along the way, so make sure to bring your camera.

The Park is so much more than a wildlife sanctuary. Before, after or during your animal encounters, try your hand at unlimited rounds of golf at Pirate Pete's mini golf course. Enter the pirate-themed wonderland and challenge yourself to 18 intricate holes which takes you through various Australian landscapes. Putt through the beach, the bush, the red soil of the outback and underneath the thunderous waterfall. With a little bit of everything, the Maru Koala Park is an awesome day out for the entire family.

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience

A simple, welcoming and exciting animal experience

We had such an incredible time together. The animals were active and friendly (thank goodness because my boy has no chill). The volunteers and staff were all active and wanting to chat about the animals when they were around. Everyone seemed well cared for. Very grateful.

Park Experience

Very clean and maintained park. All animal enclosures were very clean and all the animals were out and about exploring. Friendly staff and good to see staff and volunteers around the grounds all day. Very informative close up experiences.

Fun filled location with much to do for everyone

What a fantastic background to celebrate my sons first birthday. Mini golf for the older kids ( and BIG kids), an animal park that has a great diversity celebrating our local fauna ( plus a couple of extras) in a beautiful natural location. Kids get to feed the kangaroos and hear special talks about different species. Great undercover area close to the playground with basic set ups provided. Clean facilities. A fantastic day loved by every guest. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend visiting - make a day of it with family and or friends.

We had a great time and were able to get up close to some animals but unfortunately red balloon made it fairly confusing and a bit of a let down. Firstly the description put up by red balloon is definitely deceiving and you don’t really get to do all the things they say you will. Secondly red balloon makes you choose two booking times and says the time will be confirmed by the company themselves, when I called because I got no confirmation they were very confused and said just come in we are open from 9:30am. Upon arrival I was told it’s actually an all day pass and you can go whatever time you like and spend as much time as you like... as well as learning about all the things I wouldn’t get to do unless I paid more money that red balloon says is included in the experience description. But besides red balloons half of this, the place is great and we had a great time.
