Climb aboard a pirate ship for an interactive family adventure as you cruise through Mandurah's inland waterways and canals. Steer the pirate wheel, ring the bell, look through the telescopes or simply sit back and enjoy the scenery. If you're lucky, you may even spot a pod of bottlenose dolphins!

What's included?

45 minute scenic pirate cruise

Ahoy there matey! Take your seat as you depart from the eastern foreshore and venture through through Mandurah's beautiful inland waterways and canals on a fun-filled pirate cruise. Kids are encouraged to dress up in their favourite pirate costume and pretend they are sailing the seven seas! On this 45-minute adventure, they can steer the pirate wheel, look through the telescopes and take photos with the friendly captain, while adults are entertained with scenic views including a look at the prestigious homes dotted along the canals. Don't forget to bring your camera - Western Australia's largest residential population of Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins can be found in the waterways all year round.

Session Length

This experience is 45 minutes in duration
During Winter weekends only 11am-3pm can change due to weather.
Open 7 days over Western Australian school holidays. October to May 7 days 10am- 3pm weather dependant.

Guidelines

Children must be accompanied by a adult
Children under three years of age travel free
Infants must be added to booking as they are considered a passenger
The vessel is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 50 passengers per trip.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome to wait ashore, there are cafes and restaurants surrounding the jetty to sit down and grab a coffee.

Weather

The provider will endeavour to operate where possible but being an open air vessel sometimes they cannot avoid cancellations due to the weather.

Dress Code

Please wear suitable attire including hats, sunscreen and sunglasses during the day and jackets at night. No high heels are allowed on the vessel.

Mandurah Canal Pirate Cruise

The experience was a wonderful trip for the kids. They had the best time shooting water at the other boats and 'steering' the boat around the canals. Spotting dolphins along the way was an added bonus. A thoroughly excellent expedition was had!

We went as a family of five, 3 kids of the ages 2,4,6 and they all had an amazing time! Was just right amount of time on water for those age groups, the ‘pirates’ and captain on board made the experience enjoyable and funny with jokes, songs, humour throughout the cruise. A great birthday gift idea, throughly recommend!

Some of the young boys had a fantasy fulfilled by riding the high seas in a 'real pirate ship. Craxy PirateGeorge had the children Ahoying and Arrhing at certain time throughout the sailing. It was also educational with Crazy Pirate George explaining easy ways to remember the stern, bow, portside and starboard.
